Getting Started with Daigest: Your First Steps to AI Document Automation

Daigest automatically monitors your connected sources and curates only the information you need—powered by AI. In this guide, we'll walk you through how to get started with Daigest step by step.

1. Creating an Account

To get started with Daigest, you'll first need to create an account.

  1. Visit the Daigest homepage
  2. Click the Get Started Free button
  3. Sign up easily with your Google account, or register with email

2. Creating Your First Document

Once you've created an account, you can start writing your first feed right away.

  1. Click the + New Document button in the left panel
  2. Select a template from the template list

3. Connecting External Sources

  1. Select the Sources tab.
  2. Connect the sources you want to collect information from based on the template purpose.
    • You can connect various sources such as RSS, YouTube, Reddit, and more.

4. Using the AI Agent

  1. Request feed creation in the AI input field at the top of the feed.
    • Example / Weekly AI Tech Highlights template: "Summarize technically important updates from the connected AI blogs (within the last 3 days)."
  2. Improve your feed with Daigest's AI agent:
    • Format conversion: "Organize this content into a table"
    • Content enhancement: "Add a conclusion section to this feed"

5. Reviewing Your Document

  1. Review the feed created by AI.
  2. Want to add more content? You can edit the feed directly.

6. Setting Up Auto Updates

You can automatically update your feed at scheduled times. Automate your information collection.

  1. Select the Setting tab in your feed.
  2. Enable the Auto Update toggle.
  3. Set the update frequency.
  4. AI will automatically detect changes in your sources and update the feed.
  5. When the feed is updated, you'll receive an update notification email.
